Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are
Abrimatt Consulting Ltd. (“Abrimatt”, “we”) is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about it at info@abrimatt.com.
2. What we collect
Enquiries. When you use the consultation, contact or quick-inquiry forms we collect the details you enter: your name, company, work email address, telephone number (optional), country, industry, area of interest, timeline, and any project description or message. When you were reading one of our Insights articles, we also record which article it was, so that we can see which of our writing people find useful.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and the topic you choose, and, when you subscribe from an article, which article it was. We email you when we publish an Insights article on your topic. Every email has a link that unsubscribes you at once.
Article counts. When an Insights article is opened we add one to a count for that article and that day. The count holds no address, browser details or identifier, so it cannot tell one reader from another, and it is not added to when your browser tells us not to track you (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control).
Solution advisor. What you write to the solution advisor is compared with our catalogue of solutions and services in your browser, and goes nowhere else. When the site’s AI mode is switched on, which the advisor says at the top of its window, what you write is sent through our server to an AI provider so that it can write the replies. We do not store or log those messages. The provider handles them on our behalf and may keep them for a limited period to detect abuse. So that it can tell one visitor’s activity from another’s when it looks into abuse, we send it a short code made from your connection by a one-way process; it is not your address and cannot be turned back into it. Please leave out personal or confidential details. CONFIRM: name the provider, and state where it processes the messages and how long it keeps them, once chosen.
Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse.
This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and does not set cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to take steps you ask for before entering into an agreement. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and responding to people who contact us.
- To send the newsletter, only if you subscribe. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To count how often each article is read, so that we know what to write next (legitimate interests). Nothing is stored about the reader.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse (legitimate interests), and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Who receives it
We use service providers to run the website and to receive and store enquiries (for example hosting, email delivery and database services, and, when the solution advisor’s AI mode is on, an AI model provider). They act on our instructions. Some providers may process information outside Nigeria; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards. CONFIRM: list the specific providers and transfer mechanisms once chosen.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe, which every email lets you do with one link. We keep the daily article counts without time limit, because they identify no one. CONFIRM: state fixed retention periods.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to provide it in a portable format, and to object to our use of it; and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email info@abrimatt.com to exercise these rights. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or your local data protection authority.
7. Client project data
Information that clients share with us during an engagement is treated as confidential and handled under the terms of the engagement agreement. Client data processed in our intelligent automation work is kept within isolated environments and is not used to train public AI models.
8. Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. We may update this policy; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
