Intelligent systems · automation and AI agents

Practical automation and AI agents, built with people firmly in control.

We build automation and AI into the work your people do: reading documents, sorting requests, answering routine questions, preparing reports and carrying multi-step tasks across your systems. We start with the process, choose rules, AI or an agent for each step on the merits, design the approvals and the records, and run it beside your team before it runs alone.

What you get

What is included in AI Automation & AI Agents

  • Document parsing and extraction

Read invoices, orders and forms, check them and post them to your systems, with exceptions queued for review.

  • Knowledge assistants and copilots

Assistants that answer from your own documents and respect each person's permissions.

  • Request and ticket triage

Sort incoming email and tickets, answer the routine ones and route the rest.

  • AI agents with approvals

Agents that carry multi-step tasks, within limits you set, with a person approving what matters.

  • Exception queues

A defined place, with an owner, for everything the automation cannot or should not decide.

  • Governance and audit

Policies, access control, testing and logs, so that the automation can be trusted and shown to be.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • People spend hours on repetitive tasks, such as keying documents or answering the same questions.
  • The information the work needs already exists in your systems or documents.
  • You want to start small, learn, and widen as the results justify it.
  • You want to be sure what the automation does, and who is accountable for it.

Look at something else when

  • The process is not understood yet: start with Process Optimization.
  • A fixed rule does the job: plain workflow automation is simpler and more predictable.
  • You want a system to make high-stakes decisions without review: we design with a person in charge of those.

How we run it

How we run AI Automation

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Discover

Find the processes where time goes and the information already exists.

  2. Choose the tool

Decide, step by step, between rules, AI and an agent, or leaving it with a person.

  3. Design

Define the limits, the approvals, the records and the exceptions.

  4. Build and test

Build it, and test it on real cases, including awkward ones, beside the people who do the work today.

  5. Deploy

Introduce it at a low level of freedom, with training and monitoring.

  6. Improve

Watch the exceptions, tune the automation and extend it to the next process.

Questions we are asked

AI Automation: questions and answers

How do we know automation is worth it for a process?

We look at how often it happens, how long it takes and how well the information is held, and we run a pilot to find out. We do not promise savings in advance; we measure on your own work.

Will it replace our staff?

The aim is to take repetitive work off people so that they spend their time on judgement and on customers. Decisions that matter stay with people, and we design for that.

What about our data and privacy?

We design so that your data is used for your work and not to train public models, with access that follows each person's permissions and a record of what is done. We confirm the details for the AI services involved, in writing, before anything is connected.

Start the conversation

Find the first piece of work worth automating.

Tell us which work costs your team the most time and where the information for it lives. We will say what could be automated, with what, and where a person should stay in charge.

  • A shortlist of processes, with the right tool for each
  • The controls and approvals we would design in from the start
  • A pilot that measures on your own work

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
