Intelligent automation architecture

Move From Automation to Intelligent Automation.

Traditional automation follows predefined rules. Intelligent automation combines artificial intelligence, business process automation, enterprise applications, and connected data to create workflows capable of understanding information, processing requests, identifying patterns, generating responses, and supporting business decisions.

Delivery framework

Our six-step AI automation methodology

We follow a structured engineering lifecycle so that every automation pipeline is secure, dependable, and understood by operational stakeholders before deployment.

  1. PHASE 01DISCOVER

Analyze processes, systems, data, bottlenecks, and repetitive work.

We shadow operational personnel to uncover where manual effort is spent, evaluate data availability, and identify high-friction bottlenecks.

  2. PHASE 02ASSESS

Identify where AI, traditional automation, process redesign, or human intervention is appropriate.

Not every problem requires machine learning. We evaluate whether simple deterministic rules, workflow redesign, or AI is the most reliable and cost-effective approach.

  3. PHASE 03DESIGN

Design architecture, workflows, integrations, security, data flows, and human approvals.

We specify data encryption standards, role-based access policies, API connectors, error handling protocols, and human sign-off thresholds.

  4. PHASE 04BUILD

    Develop and integrate the solution.

Our engineering team develops the models, trains parsing pipelines on verified company data, and builds secure connectors into your existing ERP and databases.

  5. PHASE 05DEPLOY

Introduce the system into the operational environment with testing, access control, and user enablement.

We execute side-by-side shadow runs against manual operations, conduct user training, verify audit logs, and establish confidence before full cutover.

  6. PHASE 06OPTIMIZE

Continuously improve workflows and identify additional automation opportunities.

We monitor exception rates, retrain models on novel edge cases, and refine workflow parameters to keep operational accuracy up over time.

Governance & risk mitigation

Responsible AI by Design

At Abrimatt, we explicitly communicate that not every business process should be fully automated. Artificial intelligence should never operate as an unverified black box. We engineer systems that harmonize artificial intelligence, automated rules, and human oversight.

  • Data Privacy & Confidentiality

Client enterprise data is never used to train public foundational models. All API transactions operate within isolated, confidential boundaries.

  • Strict Access Control (RBAC)

AI copilots inherit identical user permissions as underlying databases, preventing unauthorized staff from accessing restricted executive data.

  • Human-in-the-Loop Oversight

High-value transactions, payments, or edge-case documents are queued for human review with automated confidence thresholds.

  • Immutable Auditability

Every extraction, transformation, and automated action records an immutable audit log detailing model version, confidence, and timestamp.

  • Exception Handling & Graceful Fallback

When an anomaly or confidence deficit is detected, the workflow fails safely to standard manual operating procedures without data loss.

  • Operational Risk Governance

Continuous monitoring against hallucinations, output drift, and regulatory compliance standards across international jurisdictions.

Questions we are asked

Choosing and using AI in your business

Do we need AI for this, or is ordinary automation enough?

Often ordinary automation is enough, and it is simpler and more predictable. AI helps where the input is messy, such as an email or a scanned form, or where the steps vary. We choose the simplest tool that works for each step, and we say when AI is not needed.

Where do we start?

With one process that costs your team real time and has the information it needs already to hand. We map it, decide what suits rules, AI or an agent, and run a pilot beside your people, so that you see results on your own work before widening.

How do you protect our data?

We design so that your data is used for your work and not to train public models, with access that follows each person's permissions and a record of what is done. The details depend on the AI service used, and we confirm them in writing before anything is connected.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

It will sometimes, which is why we design for it: confidence checks, a review queue for doubtful cases, approvals where the stakes are high, tests before each release and monitoring afterwards. A person stays accountable for what matters.

Start with one process

Find the first process worth handing to an AI agent.

Tell us which piece of work costs your team the most time. We will map where document processing, automation or an agent fits, and where a person should stay firmly in charge.

  • A shortlist of the processes where an agent or automation would earn its place
  • The systems, data and permissions each one would need
  • The controls and approvals we would design in from the first day

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
