Engineering · connecting your systems
Connect your systems so that data is entered once and agrees everywhere.
We connect platforms that were never designed to work together: your ERP, e-commerce store, point of sale, payment providers, banks, logistics partners, legacy applications and cloud services. We design the interfaces, build secure APIs and middleware, add monitoring and reconciliation, and test the failures as carefully as the successes, so that when a connection breaks you know at once and nothing is lost.
What you get
What is included in Systems Integration
APIs and connectors
REST, GraphQL, SOAP and OData interfaces, secure and documented, for your systems and for other people's.
Middleware and messaging
Queues and event-driven flows that carry data reliably, even when one side is down.
Point of sale and ERP sync
Sales, stock and prices kept in step between the counter and the back office.
Banks and payment providers
Payment, statement and settlement connections, reconciled to your accounts.
Monitoring and alerting
Dashboards and alerts that show what moved, what failed and what needs a person.
Reconciliation reports
Automated comparison between systems, with the differences listed, so errors are found early.
Is it the right one?
Where it fits, and where it does not
We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.
A strong fit when
- Data is copied by hand between systems, and the copies differ.
- You are adding a new system and it must work with the old ones.
- Errors in one system show up as surprises in another.
- You want to be told when a connection fails, not to find out later.
Look at something else when
- Two systems already have a supported connector: configure that first.
- A system you depend on has no interface at all: we will set out the options for getting data out safely.
- The data itself is inconsistent: integration will move the problem around, so we clean it as part of the work.
How we run it
How we run Systems Integration
Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.
Map
List the systems, the data that moves between them and where it goes wrong.
Design
Choose the pattern for each flow and agree the contract: what each side sends and expects.
Build
Build the interfaces with automated tests, including the failure cases.
Test in parallel
Run the new flow beside the manual one, and compare the results.
Go live
Switch over with monitoring in place and a defined way to handle exceptions.
Operate
Watch the flows, reconcile regularly and extend to the next connection.
Questions we are asked
Systems Integration: questions and answers
Can you integrate with a system that has no API?
Often. There are usually ways to get data in and out safely, such as database access, file exchange or a purpose-built adapter, and we set out the options, with their risks, before building.
How do you stop an integration from silently failing?
With monitoring and alerts on every flow, queues and retries so that a short outage loses nothing, and reconciliation reports that compare the systems on a schedule.
Do you work with SAP's own integration tools?
Yes. Where SAP is involved we use its standard interfaces and, where it suits, SAP Business Technology Platform. We recommend what fits your landscape, and say why.
