Cybersecurity · layered defence and zero-trust access

Layered defence for your networks, devices and accounts, so that one mistake does not become an incident.

We design and deploy defence in depth: next-generation firewalls (we are a Fortinet partner, and we work with Fortinet FortiGate and Sophos), endpoint detection and response, multi-factor authentication and zero-trust access, email and web protection, and regular vulnerability assessment, with an incident-response plan for the day something gets through. We start from your actual risks, and we tell you plainly what remains.

Capabilities

What Cybersecurity & Zero-Trust Access covers

  • Next-generation firewalls

Perimeter and internal firewalls that inspect traffic by application and user, configured and maintained.

  • Endpoint detection and response

Software on laptops and servers that spots suspicious behaviour and lets you contain it quickly.

  • Multi-factor and identity controls

Sign-in that needs more than a password, and access rights that follow the job and are reviewed.

  • Zero-trust access

No device or user trusted by default: each request is checked, and each person reaches only what they need.

  • Vulnerability management

Regular scans and reviews, with findings ranked by risk and tracked until they are fixed.

  • Incident response

A written plan, practised, so that the first hour of an incident is not spent deciding who does what.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • You have grown without a security design, and rely on one firewall and good luck.
  • You worry about ransomware, phishing or a lost laptop.
  • Customers or auditors ask what security you have.
  • Staff work from many places and on many devices.

Look at something else when

  • You want a promise that nothing will get through: nobody can honestly give one. We reduce the likelihood and the damage, and prepare for recovery.
  • You want a formal certification: we can help you prepare, but certification comes from an accredited body.
  • A specific regulation applies to you: we work alongside your legal and compliance advisers.

How we deliver

How Abrimatt delivers Zero-Trust Security

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Assess

Review your network, devices, accounts, backups and habits to find where the real risks are.

  2. Prioritize

Rank what we found by risk and by effort, and agree what to do first.

  3. Fix the basics

Close the common gaps first: patches, passwords, multi-factor sign-in, exposed services.

  4. Deploy the layers

Put in the firewalls, endpoint protection and access controls, tested before they are relied on.

  5. Train and rehearse

Help people spot the common attacks, and practise the incident plan.

  6. Monitor and review

Watch for threats, rescan on a schedule and review the controls as the business changes.

Questions we are asked

Zero-Trust Security: questions and answers

Can you stop ransomware?

No one can promise to stop every attack. We reduce the chance with layered controls, limit the damage with segmentation and least-privilege access, and make recovery dependable with tested, protected backups.

Which firewall should we choose?

It depends on your size, your sites and your team. We work with Fortinet FortiGate and Sophos, and we are a Fortinet partner. We recommend what suits you on the merits, with the reasons written down.

What is zero trust?

An approach that does not trust a device or a person because they are inside the network. Each request is verified, and each person can reach only what their job needs. It limits how far an attacker can go from one stolen password.

Start the conversation

Find out where your defences are thin, and fix them in order.

Tell us what you run, how people connect and what keeps you awake. We will tell you plainly where the exposure is, what to do first and what remains, whatever you decide.

  • A plain review of your network, devices, accounts and backups
  • Findings ranked by risk, with the first steps clear
  • A layered design you can build in stages

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
