Questions we are asked

Choosing between the SAP solutions

Are SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud the same product?

No. SAP S/4HANA is software you run yourself, on-premise or on infrastructure you manage. SAP S/4HANA Cloud comes in two editions: the Public Edition, a shared, standardized service that SAP runs and updates, and the Private Edition, a dedicated system that SAP operates for you. That makes three products, with different costs, flexibility and responsibilities. The comparison above sets them side by side.

How do we choose between the SAP solutions?

Start with the size and shape of the business, how different your processes are from standard, who should run the system, and how you want updates to work. We walk through these with you, say plainly which product fits and which do not, and put the reasons in writing. The solution advisor gives a first indication in a few questions.

Can the SAP solutions work together?

Yes, and often they should. A group might run SAP S/4HANA at headquarters and the Public Edition in its subsidiaries, add SAP Ariba for procurement and SAP SuccessFactors for HR, and connect all of it, and its other systems, through SAP BTP.

Do you only implement SAP?

No. SAP is one of our five solution practices. We also build AI automation and AI agents, custom software, cloud and security infrastructure, and hospitality platforms, and we connect them to SAP where that helps.
