AI assistants · knowledge and questions

An assistant that answers from your own knowledge, and shows each person only what they may see.

A business assistant lets people ask questions in plain language and get answers drawn from your policies, procedures, contracts, product information and systems, with the source shown. We build it on your own content, connect it to the permissions you already have, and set what it may and may not do, so that it saves people time without exposing anything it should not.

Capabilities

What AI Business Assistants & Knowledge Copilots covers

  • Answers from your own content

Answers are drawn from your documents and systems at the moment of the question, not from whatever a model happens to remember.

  • Permission-aware

The assistant sees what the person asking is allowed to see, and nothing more.

  • Sources you can check

Every answer points to the passage it came from, so people can verify it and trust can build.

  • Assistants for specific jobs

Copilots for HR, sales, support or operations that know the vocabulary and the procedures of that job.

  • Content preparation

Cleaning, structuring and keeping the underlying documents up to date, which decides how good the answers are.

  • Quality checks

A set of test questions run before each release and again afterwards, to catch wrong or missing answers.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • People ask the same questions again and again, and the answers exist somewhere in your documents.
  • Your policies and procedures are written down, even if they are scattered.
  • New starters take a long time to find their way around what the business knows.
  • Different people need to see different information.

Look at something else when

  • The knowledge you need is mostly unwritten: capture it first, and we can help plan that.
  • You need exact figures from a database: reporting or a query tool is the better answer (see AI Reporting & Executive Intelligence).
  • The documents contradict each other so that nobody could say which is right: clean-up comes before an assistant.

How we deliver

How Abrimatt delivers Business Assistants

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Choose the knowledge

Start with one area where questions are frequent and the content is reasonably sound.

  2. Prepare the content

Gather, clean and structure the documents, and decide who owns each so they stay current.

  3. Design access

Map the permissions the assistant must respect, and decide how sources are shown.

  4. Build and test

Build the assistant and test it with real questions, including ones it should refuse.

  5. Pilot

Release it to a small group, collect what is missing or wrong, and fix it before widening.

  6. Maintain

Keep the content and the quality checks current as the business and the documents change.

Questions we are asked

Business Assistants: questions and answers

Where does the assistant get its answers?

From your own documents and systems, found at the moment of the question and shown as sources. It is not meant to answer from general knowledge about your business, and it is designed to say so when it cannot find the answer.

Will our documents be used to train public AI models?

We design so that your content is used to answer your people's questions and not to train public models. The details depend on the AI service chosen, and we confirm them in writing before anything is connected.

What happens when the assistant does not know?

It says so and, where it can, points to the person or document that owns the topic. Questions it could not answer are listed for the content owners, which is how the knowledge improves.

Start the conversation

Give your people one place to ask, and answers they can check.

Tell us where people lose time looking for answers: which documents, which systems, which questions. We will show you what an assistant on that knowledge would involve, and where the content needs work first.

  • Which body of knowledge to start with, and what state it is in
  • How the assistant would respect the permissions you already have
  • What a pilot would need from your side, and how we would judge it

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
