Enablement · training that sticks
Help your people use the systems you have paid for.
A system is only as good as the way people use it. We design role-based training from your own processes, run hands-on workshops in a practice environment, produce short videos and quick guides that people will actually open, and check afterwards that people can do the job. The goal is people who are confident on the system, and a business that can train its next starters without us.
What you get
What is included in Training & User Enablement
Role-based curricula
Training built around each role's own tasks, for staff and for managers, not a tour of every menu.
Hands-on workshops
Practice sessions in a safe environment with realistic data, so that mistakes cost nothing.
Video library and quick guides
Short videos and one-page guides for the tasks people do rarely and forget.
Competency checks
Simple checks after training, to see who can do the job and who needs more help.
Champions and trainers
People in each team trained to help others, so that knowledge stays in the business.
Support after go-live
Floor-walking, a place to ask questions, and refreshers in the first weeks.
Is it the right one?
Where it fits, and where it does not
We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.
A strong fit when
- You are about to go live with a new system.
- People work around the system you have, and use a fraction of what it offers.
- New starters learn from whoever is nearest, and learn different things.
- You want the training to be reusable, not one-off.
Look at something else when
- The system itself is the problem: training will not fix a process or a design that does not fit.
- You want generic courses: we build training from your own processes, and will say if a standard course would serve better.
- No one can be released to attend: training that people cannot attend does not work, so we plan the time with you.
How we run it
How we run Training & Enablement
Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.
Understand the roles
See who does what, and what each person needs to be able to do.
Design
Design the curricula and the materials around those tasks.
Prepare
Set up a practice environment, with realistic data, and train the trainers and champions.
Deliver
Run the workshops, close to go-live, in groups that suit the work.
Check
Check what people can do, and follow up with those who need more.
Sustain
Hand over the materials, keep them current and support the first weeks.
Questions we are asked
Training & Enablement: questions and answers
When should training happen?
Close to go-live, so that it is fresh, and again in the first weeks, when real questions arise. Training long before go-live is forgotten, and training after it comes too late.
How do you know the training worked?
By checking, not by asking whether people enjoyed it: practical exercises that show whether a person can do the tasks of their role, and a look at the questions that reach the helpdesk afterwards.
Can we run the training ourselves afterwards?
Yes, and that is the aim. We hand over the materials and train your own people to use them, so that new starters can be trained without us.
