Who owns the software and the source code?

As set out in your engagement agreement, your organization retains ownership of the source code, database designs and APIs developed for you once each milestone is complete. We provide documentation, clean repositories and deployment runbooks so that you are not locked in to us.

How do you keep a custom system secure and maintainable?

By building it cleanly: separated layers, automated tests, secure defaults, and careful vetting of the third-party code it depends on. We document it, and we can support it afterwards, or hand it to your own team.

Do we have to build everything at once?

No. We define a first release small enough to be used quickly and add to it in steps. The timescale for each step is set after discovery, not before.
