Integration · APIs and connectors

Connect your ERP, store, payments and partners, so that data moves once and is right everywhere.

Data typed twice is data that will differ. We build secure APIs, connectors and middleware that tie your ERP, e-commerce store, point of sale, payment providers, banks, logistics partners and in-house software into one flow, with monitoring and reconciliation so that when something fails you know at once. We work with REST, SOAP and OData, and with SAP through its standard interfaces and SAP BTP.

Capabilities

What API Development & System Integration covers

  • API design and development

Well-documented, secure APIs for your own systems, and connectors to other people's.

  • Middleware and messaging

Queues and event-driven flows that carry data between systems reliably, even when one is down.

  • Point of sale and ERP

Sales, stock and prices kept in step between the counter, the store and the ERP.

  • Banks and payment providers

Payment and statement connections, reconciled to your accounts.

  • Logistics and partners

Orders, shipments and status exchanged with carriers, suppliers and customers.

  • Monitoring and reconciliation

Dashboards and reports that show what moved, what failed and what needs attention.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • The same data is typed into more than one system, and differs between them.
  • Orders, stock or payments are copied by hand between a store, a scanner, a bank and the ERP.
  • You are adding a new system and need it to work with the old ones.
  • You want to know at once when a connection fails.

Look at something else when

  • There are only two systems and one already offers a supported connector: configure that first.
  • A system you depend on offers no interface at all: that needs solving first, and we will set out the options.
  • The underlying data is inconsistent: integration will move the problem around. Clean it as part of the work.

How we deliver

How Abrimatt delivers APIs & Integration

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Map the flows

List the systems, the data that moves between them, who owns it and where it goes wrong today.

  2. Choose the pattern

Pick direct APIs, middleware or messaging for each flow, on reliability and effort.

  3. Design the contract

Agree the data each side sends and expects, and what happens on an error.

  4. Build and test

Build the connectors with automated tests, and test the failures as well as the successes.

  5. Run in parallel

Run the new flow beside the manual one, and compare results before switching over.

  6. Monitor

Watch the flows, reconcile regularly, and extend to the next integration.

Questions we are asked

APIs & Integration: questions and answers

Can you integrate with our legacy systems?

Yes. We build secure REST, SOAP and OData middleware that connects modern platforms with legacy databases, custom e-commerce stores, warehouse barcode scanners and bank payment gateways. Where an old system has no interface, we set out the options for getting data out safely.

How do you keep integrations reliable?

With queues and retries, so that a short outage does not lose data; monitoring, so that a failure is seen at once; and reconciliation reports that compare the systems on a schedule. We design for failure, because every connection fails sometimes.

Do you use SAP's own integration tools?

Where SAP is involved we use its standard interfaces and, where it suits, SAP Business Technology Platform. The right tool depends on your landscape, and we recommend it on the merits.

Start the conversation

Enter data once, and see it everywhere it should be.

Tell us which systems you run and where data is copied by hand. We will show you which connections to build first, and how they would be kept reliable.

  • A map of the flows between your systems, and where they fail today
  • The first integrations to build, in order
  • How each would be monitored and reconciled

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
