Capabilities

What SAP Customer Checkout covers

  • Transactions and payments

Contactless cards, mobile wallets, vouchers and split payments, with integrated payment-terminal support.

  • Real-time stock reconciliation

Every item scanned reduces stock for that store or warehouse in SAP as the sale is made.

  • Offline resilience

Checkout queues keep moving during a connection outage; terminals hold transactions locally and synchronize when connectivity returns.

  • Customer data and loyalty

Central customer accounts, special price lists, loyalty balances and gift cards at the counter.

  • Cash drawer and fiscal reporting

End-of-shift reconciliation, cash drawer counts and fiscal audit reports.

  • Central management

Push price lists, promotional bundles and user permissions to many terminals from one console.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • You run stores or counters and your stock in SAP lags behind what has actually been sold.
  • You want one price list, one customer record and one set of promotions across all locations.
  • Trading must continue when the internet does not.

Look at something else when

  • You run restaurants or hotels with tables, kitchens and room folios: our Cliq restaurant management and StayQuora platforms are built for that.
  • You do not run SAP: a point-of-sale system matched to your own back office will serve you better.

How we deliver

How Abrimatt delivers Customer Checkout

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Assess

Review stores, hardware, payment providers and the SAP system the sales must post to.

  2. Design

Define price lists, promotions, taxes, receipts and the synchronization with SAP.

  3. Configure and integrate

Set up the terminals and connect them to SAP and to payment providers.

  4. Pilot

Run one store first, learn from it, and adjust before the rest follow.

  5. Roll out

Train staff, deploy to the remaining stores, and support the first weeks of trading.

  6. Support

Monitoring, updates and help for the people at the counter.

Questions we are asked

Customer Checkout: questions and answers

What happens when the internet connection drops?

Terminals keep selling and hold their transactions locally, then synchronize with SAP when the connection returns, so queues keep moving.

Does it work with SAP Business One as well as SAP S/4HANA?

Yes. SAP Customer Checkout can be connected to both, and we design the synchronization around the system you run.

Which payment methods can it take?

Card, contactless, mobile wallet and voucher payments are supported through integrated payment terminals. Which providers and methods you can use depends on your region and payment provider, and we confirm that early.
