Infrastructure · networks, Wi-Fi and site links

Corporate networks designed for your traffic, secured by design and resilient to failure.

We survey, design and deploy the networks your business runs on: structured cabling, switching and routing, enterprise Wi-Fi, secure site-to-site links and SD-WAN between offices, warehouses and the cloud. We work with Cisco, including Meraki, and with other enterprise equipment. We size for the traffic you carry, segment for security and add the redundancy that lets one link or switch fail without stopping work.

What you get

What is included in Network Infrastructure

  • Cisco routing and switching

The core of the network, specified for your traffic and built with redundancy.

  • VPN and SD-WAN

Secure links between sites and the cloud, with more than one path and sensible failover.

  • High-density Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi designed from a survey, for coverage and for the number of devices, and tested where people work.

  • Traffic prioritization

Priority for voice, business applications and anything that cannot wait, so that bulk traffic does not crowd it out.

  • Segmentation

Separate networks for staff, guests, devices and servers, so that a problem stays where it starts.

  • Cabling and documentation

Clean cabling, labelled and documented, so that the next person can pick it up.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • You are opening, moving or expanding a site.
  • Wi-Fi is patchy or slow where people work.
  • Sites connect over links that fail or are slow.
  • You want guest, staff and device traffic kept apart.

Look at something else when

  • The network is sound and the problem is an application: we will say so after a short review.
  • Most of your work is in the cloud and your sites are small: a simpler design may serve.
  • You want the cheapest network: one built only to a price usually has no redundancy.

How we run it

How we run Network Infrastructure

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Survey

Walk the sites, measure coverage, map the traffic and list the devices.

  2. Design

Design the cabling, equipment, segments and redundancy to match.

  3. Specify

Specify the equipment and the work so that cost and scope are clear.

  4. Install

Install and configure, planning the cutover to avoid downtime for your people.

  5. Test and document

Test the failures as well as the successes, and write it all down.

  6. Support

Monitor and review the network, and extend it as you grow.

Questions we are asked

Network Infrastructure: questions and answers

Do you only work with Cisco?

We work with Cisco, including Meraki, and with other enterprise equipment. We recommend what suits your sites and your team, and explain the choice.

Can you install without stopping work?

We plan the cutover with you, usually outside working hours, and test beforehand. Where some interruption cannot be avoided we say so in advance and agree when it will happen.

Who looks after it afterwards?

You choose: your own team, with the documentation we leave, or us, through a managed service with agreed response times.

Start the conversation

Build a network the business can rely on.

Tell us about your sites and what goes wrong now. We will say what a survey would look at, and what a resilient design would involve.

  • A survey of coverage, traffic and weak points
  • A design with redundancy where it counts
  • A cutover plan that protects your working day

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
