Process automation · rules, workflow and AI together

Automate the handoffs between people and systems, and keep a record of every step.

Much of the delay in a business sits between the steps: a request waiting for an approval, a form waiting for a signature, a record waiting to be copied into another system. We design workflows that route and chase that work automatically, using fixed rules where the answer is clear and AI where the input is messy, with approvals and an audit trail built in.

Capabilities

What AI-Powered Process Automation covers

  • Approval workflows

Route requests to the right approver by amount, type or rule, with reminders and escalation.

  • Onboarding flows

Customer, vendor and employee onboarding, with checklists, documents and signatures in one flow.

  • Request-to-order flows

From a purchase request to an order, with budget checks, catalog rules and approvals.

  • AI where the input is messy

Classify emails, read attachments and extract the details, then hand clean data to the rules.

  • Connected systems

Update the ERP, the CRM and other systems from one flow, so that nobody re-keys data.

  • An audit trail and owned exceptions

Every step recorded, and every exception visible and given to someone.

Is it the right one?

Where it fits, and where it does not

We would rather you choose the right thing than the one we happen to be discussing.

A strong fit when

  • Work waits in inboxes for an approval or a follow-up.
  • The same data is typed into more than one system.
  • The steps are known, even if nobody has written them down.
  • Compliance needs to see who approved what, and when.

Look at something else when

  • The process itself is broken: redesign it first (see Process Optimization), then automate.
  • It happens rarely, and a checklist would do.
  • The steps change every time: an assistant or an agent may suit better than a fixed flow.

How we deliver

How Abrimatt delivers AI Process Automation

Every engagement runs in phases, so the business sees progress and risks surface early. The timescale for each phase is set after an assessment, not before.

  1. Map

Draw the flow as it really runs, including the workarounds, and find where work waits.

  2. Redesign

Remove steps and ambiguity before anything is automated.

  3. Build

Build the rules, the workflow and the AI steps, with the approvals where they belong.

  4. Integrate

Connect the systems that the flow reads from and writes to.

  5. Pilot

Run it with one team, watch the exceptions and fix what they show.

  6. Roll out

Extend to the other teams, and report on how work now moves.

Questions we are asked

AI Process Automation: questions and answers

Do we need rules, AI, or both?

Often both. Rules are the right tool where the answer is clear, because they are predictable. AI helps where the input is messy, such as an email or a scanned form. We use the simplest thing that works for each step.

Do we have to replace our existing tools?

Usually not. We connect to what you run through standard interfaces. Where a tool offers no interface, we say so and set out the options.

How are exceptions handled?

Every flow has a defined place for what does not fit: a queue with an owner, the details the owner needs and a record of what was decided. Exceptions are expected, and we design for them.

Start the conversation

Find the handoffs that cost you the most time.

Tell us about a process that crosses teams: who starts it, who approves it and where it waits. We will map where it could be automated, and what to fix in the process before that.

  • A map of where work waits, and why
  • Which steps suit rules, which suit AI, and which should stay with a person
  • A first flow to build, and what it would connect to

What happens next

  1. Tell us where you are

A short form or a call: what you run today, and what is getting in the way.

  2. We review it with you

A named consultant looks at your situation and talks through the options and what each would involve.

  3. You decide what comes next

You leave with a clear picture and a recommended scope you can take to your team.
